Culture Definition
Culture just happens if you’re not paying attention or being deliberate about it. And if culture just happens, it becomes impossible to hire people that contribute to the culture, to promote leaders that will grow the culture, or to ensure teams complement the culture. Kristen’s method for defining culture is one that drives excitement and commitment from the workforce, by including them in the process. Employees are the ones living the culture everyday - they have a lot to offer in way of defining, and will be an untapped resource if not invited into the process. Whether your company has been around for a while, or you’re in start-up mode (or a bit of both), Kristen’s process can help put words, expectations, behaviors, and a little ‘heart’ to your culture.

Culture Operationalization
This is about making the culture feel REAL - something we live day in and day out. According to Brene Brown, only 11% of companies have turned their values into behaviors, and ZERO have included those behaviors in their performance metrics. This is a HUGE miss. Kristen has a technique to take an organization’s culture and create actionable tools and approaches that hold employees accountable for living the culture. With this approach, your team can hire for culture, promote for culture, and measure performance as part of culture - or measure culture as part of performance. Either way, if we want a culture that stays true, it’s important to put it into actionable behaviors, and then measure the existence of those behaviors over time.

Culture Sustainment
Defining the culture is key. Operationalizing it makes it real. And sustaining the excitement and engagement of employees around the culture breathes life into the organization. We stimulate employees through keynote presentations - whether delivered by the CEO or an outsider like Kristen - because they are an incredible way to get a workforce excited and eager for what’s to come. The right message, the right tone, the right emotion, at the right time: that’s what this is about. Kristen’s keynotes related to culture can really set the stage at a Company Kick Off event, or a Sales Team Event. She brings humor and ‘real-talk’ to life in a way that is palatable and accessible for people, and she drives home your company’s culture, values, beliefs, or priorities, by weaving them in strategically.
